Why is kibble less expensive?

Think about it this way, if kibble bags were full of the things shown on their labels—fresh & juicy proteins, beautiful vegetables, then it likely wouldn’t be as cheap (and it wouldn’t really be kibble). Here’s why the “cheaper” option may not be the best for the long haul. Fresh food is a completely different kind of food than kibble. High quality kibble is made to “feed” standard, which means it can be made with things that would be unfit and illegal to sell for human consumption (including “4D” meats- AKA diseased, disabled, dying, and dead animals- as long as they are rendered at high heat that depletes all nutritional value. This is completely unfitting for our pups health.
